If you are still looking for that perfect gift for mom, this list of local Savannah shops is just what you need. A fun fact is that each of these featured companies are owned by women, making it an every more perfect gift for Mother’s Day!

Marché de Macarons

With macaron flavors like cappuccino, salted caramel, and meyer lemon, these dainty delicacies taste just a good as they look! Marche de Macarons began in Savannah, GA, by Laura Hale and Amy Shippy. It has since spread to three locations (Southside, Historic District, and Hilton Head Island). Hand select a box of a dozen different flavors for your mom this Mother’s Day for the perfect treat.

Terra Cotta

Terra Cotta, a European inspired boutique located on Barnard Street in Historic Savannah, was opened by Christine Chiappone in 1996. Terra Cotta is immaculately curated, offering a variety of high quality clothing, handbags, home goods, and jewelry. If you need help deciding the employees at Terra Cotta are extremely helpful and experts at picking out gifts. Another great thing about shopping at Terra Cotta is that all gifts receive the most beautifully done gift wrapping!


Nourish provides natural bath and home products, and is a go to stop when looking for the perfect gift for any holiday. A family tradition of making soap in her kitchen led Shoshana and her husband Corey to begin Nourish in 2001. Nourish has since expanded to five locations, but their soaps are still handmade in Savannah, GA. All products are natural and chemical free, and created with health in mind. Treat your mom to a basket of bath bombs, handmade soap, and candles this holiday that she can feel good about!


Satchel., located on the corner of Liberty and Bull St., offers leather bags, wallets, phone cases, and other handmade goods. Satchel was founded by SCAD alum Elizabeth Seeger in 2006. Now her and a select few “Satchelletes” hand make all the goods in studio right here in Savannah, GA! Purchase one of the tempting leather goods from inside the shop, or bring your mom in to design her own bag!
