On September 3rd, celebrate the end of summer on Tybee Island at the annual Tybee Island Labor Day Beach Bash, the popular band The Swingin’ Medallions in a free concert beginning at 7 p.m., followed by a spectacular fireworks show around 9:15 p.m.!

Enjoy delicious bacon entrees, appetizers, and even deserts at Bacon Fest, located at the Rousakis Riverfront Plaza September 1-4, as well as live music and craft vendors.

5. A Century of Sentries: Building Fort Jackson
Special Labor Day programming at Fort Jackson, with cannon and historic weapon demonstrations and other activities. Visitors can explore fort history, including the two major phases of construction of the fort itself, and participate in a variety of hands-on activities!
