Independence Day Celebrations – Savannah 2017

If you are still finalizing your plans for the July 4th holiday, see below for a list of fireworks shows and other celebrations in Savannah, GA! Seaport Real Estate wishes you a safe and fun long holiday weekend.

British Occupation of Savannah: July 1-2

Celebrate the Revolution at Wormsloe Historic Site with a reenactment of the British Occupation of Savannah in 1780 after the Battle of Savannah.

Red White and Brews Independence Day Bar Crawl: July 1

Bar-hop through Savannah’s most popular bars in your red white and blue gear to celebrate America’s birthday a few days early. Participants will receive a free koozie and drink specials. The first 250 participants to complete the bar crawl will receive a free t-shirt. Click here to register. The crawl begins at Pour Larrys on Saturday, July 1st.

Blues Jazz & BBQ: June 30 – July 2

Arts and crafts vendors, along with delicious food, kids activities, musical events, and more will be held at Morrell Park and Rousakis Plaza alongside River Street at the Blues Jazz & BBQ event. This is a great way to celebrate the Fourth of July before the main celebration! A VIP tent will be serving beer, wine, and cocktails.

River Street Fourth of July Celebration: July 3 & 4th

Celebrate American Patriotism on Monday, July 3rd and 4th from 10am – midnight for live music, fireworks, games, and more on Riverstreet in Downtown Savannah.

Tybee Island Independence Day Celebration: July 4

Tybee Island’s annual Independence Day Celebration will take place after dark on July 4th at 9:15pm. Get there early and plan to stay late as this is one of Tybee Island’s busiest days of the year. The fireworks will be shot from the Tybee Island Pier, but sit anywhere on the eastern beaches for a great view!

For McAllister Independence Day Celebration: July 1-4

Fort McAllister, near Richmond Hill, GA, will be celebrating the Fourth of July with live cannon firings and living history demonstrations and fun for all from 10am-4pm!

Richmond Hill Red, White & Blue Celebration & Fireworks: July 1

Free family-friendly event from 5-9:30pm at J.F.Gregory Park in Richmond Hill. Fireworks begin at 9PM. Families will enjoy live music from The Tams, a wide variety of food choices, arts and crafts vendors, inflatable water slides, and more.
